HGC is proud to announce its collaboration with Hampton Racquet this summer! Hampton Racquet has a beautifully equipped, artificial turf, outdoor athletic facility that is a perfect environment considering todays COVID-19 situation. We are beginning with small groups of up to 10 participants. The basis of the classes will largely be circuit training and high intensity interval training. Partakers will alternate through concept II rowers and skierg, TRX stations, air assault bikes, various wall ball movement and a spacious turf area for body weight and agility training.

Small group classes run Tuesday to Sunday at 9:00 am, weather permitting.
1 Hour Session: $40   5 Sessions: $150 (30 ea.) Please arrange payment onsite.

Made to Order Classes: One on one and sports specific training is also available upon demand. This is a great place to grab a workout before you hit the beach, or host your own fitness based shindig! Outdoor division can make it happen for you.



Outdoor division says it all! Garth and our team will lead you through a variety of fitness activities in some of the most pristine settings on the east end. From stand up paddle, to trail runs, mountain biking, workouts on the beach – you name it, we’ll make it happen. Workouts will span an hour with some extra time on either end allotted for set up and warm up and breakdown. One-on-one sessions are preferred and we can accommodate up to four people per session.

Outdoor Division is led by veteran trainer Garth Wakeford. Hailing from South Africa, Garth holds a degree in Kinesiology from Rhodes University and is a NASM certified personal trainer.

Garth spent the early 2000’s at the exclusive LA PALESTRA club in NYC before deciding to return to his US “roots” in the Hamptons. Garth has an extensive athletic background and is a former professional athlete and Army officer. He holds various personal training certifications and is insured.

From stand up paddle sessions, to trail runs, to beach workouts and yoga sessions – Garth is the perfect leader for outdoor division and your liaison to general wellness while on the east end.
Garth is also avail-able for in-club and in-home 1:1 personal training sessions.
